BST-GR-005 Novel Passive Radiative Cooling Nano Coating
BST-GR-005 uses outer space as the cooling source, achieving a cooling effect below ambient temperature through efficient solar reflection and mid-infrared thermal radiation. Capatho utilizes the mechanism of high-infrared-emissivity nano powder structures that reflect sunlight and emit mid-infrared radiation, incorporating it into a hybrid material of aerogel, polymers, and nanoparticles, further processed into a coating product that can be easily applied to object surfaces. Once the coating is applied to a building, it can reflect most of the sunlight (reflectance greater than 95%), while effectively radiating heat to outer space in the mid-infrared range (emissivity greater than 95%), thereby achieving a “passive cooling” effect without requiring energy or refrigerants.
